REFRACTORIOS ALFRAN SA company is developing a Research and Development project with file number MIG-20211012 and with the title “GREEN HYDROGEN GENERATION THROUGH INNOVATIVE THERMOSOLAR PLANTS WITH STORAGE (NEOSOLAR PROJECT)” within the CDTI Misiones Program Call 2021 in collaboration with the companies INTECSA INGENIERÍA INDUSTRIAL SA, ESASOLAR ENERGY SYSTEM SL, KERIONICS SL, MC2 INGENIERÍA Y SISTEMAS SL, RIOGLASS SOLAR SCH SL AND TEWER ENGINEERING SL.

The project has an expected duration of 38 months, starting in November 2021 and a total budget of €5,573,353, corresponding to a budget of €1,068,430 for the participation of REFRACTARIOS ALFRAN SA.

The project goal is the development of a new electrolyser to generate hydrogen, new technologies for the storage of energy from renewable sources and the development of new materials and processes to generate energy from renewable sources with the aim of reducing energy costs and economic.

Specifically, REFRACTORIOS ALFRAN SA has the specific objective of developing a new solution to contain state-of-the-art thermal energy accumulation and transport fluids, using newly designed refractory ceramic materials and suitable thermal insulation systems.

This project has been subsidized by the CDTI, co-financed with European funds from the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism and supported by the Ministry of Science and Innovation.
