repair of the reheating furnace of Grupo GERDAU

Alfran repaired the reheating furnace of the GERDAU Steel plant in Sahagún, Hidalgo (Mexico). Particularly, the execution of this project consisted of repairing the skids in the equalization zone and the heating zone.

In this project, our Drytech 70 concrete was used, both in its vibrocasting and shotcrete (alfranjet) versions, in the front walls, exit doors, and vault blocks. Our range of TIX products was used for the skids, specifically the TIX 80 and TIX 60.

In total, more than 50 tons of high-quality concrete were installed by Alfran, in this project.
