Braskem Idesa awards Alfran with a performance result of 100% in the third quarter of 2020. One more time, we are recognized for our performance in the works related to refractories and thermal insulation, that we have been installing in the petrochemical installation, located in southeast Mexico.
McDermott International, Inc. awarded Alfran the supply and application of Fireproofing and Thermal Insulation for the project of the Borstar Bay3 Modular Polyethylene Unit. In its totality, it consists of 27 modules that are being built in the McDermott Prefabrication and Assembly Yard, in Altamira, Tamaulipas (Mexico). These will be part of the new high-density polyethylene (HDPE) unit, whose final location is in Bayport, Texas (owned by Bayport Polymers LLC, Baystar), a joint venture of Total Petrochemicals & Refining USA, Inc., and Novealis Holdings LLC, a joint venture of Borealis AG and NOVA Chemicals Inc.
Our team was present at the major maintenance shutdown of the W8 furnace, belonging to the Rio Branco do SUL unit of the Votorantim Group, located in Paraná State, southern Brazil. Our client, once again, preferred the Alfranjet shotcrete technology, whose objective is LESS PEOPLE + LESS TIME = MINIMUM RISK OF CONTAGION. They were applied in different areas with excellent results. The work was carried out within the established deadlines with optimal performance.

We continue growing in the number of projects and customers in the USA. This time in Seattle, at the Ash Grove Cement Company plant located in Washington State. This is our first sale in this plant, belonging to CRH.
We supply and supervise our Alfranjet ABR Clean + material in the smoke chamber, installed by SHOTCRETE technology. The results obtained lives up to the customer´s expectations

Depuis 2007, Refractarios Alfran est le principal acteur tant dans la fourniture que dans la pose de matériaux réfractaires dans les usines de Votorantim Cimentos, dans le sud de l’Espagne.
C’est la société Alfran qui a été retenue grâce à sa connaissance des installations, à la qualité de ses matériaux et à son personnel qualifié, qui maîtrise toutes les méthodes d’installation et connaît parfaitement les exigences matérielles propres à chaque zone, lors des différents arrêts de maintenance effectués sur ses sites de Cordoue et de Niebla (Huelva).
Il convient de souligner que les bétons coulables tels que l’ALFRAN CLEAN 85 G, l’ALFRAN ABR CLEAN ou le DRYTECH 70 sont couramment utilisés dans ces cimenteries, où ils offrent des performances exceptionnelles.
