EMSTEEL RM2 Project – Hot Billet Charging Furnace, UAE The project executed at Furnace 2 for our customer Emirates Steel introduces, for the first time in the country, hot billet charging, with the goal of increasing productivity, reducing energy consumption, and lowering CO₂ emissions, without modifications to downstream processes. Alfran provides advanced technical solutions, including mechanical re-engineering and refractory redesign of the charging area, pumping installation, and the use of robotic demolition. This project reinforces our commitment to technical excellence, safety, and sustainability, further consolidating Alfran-HTR philosophy.
