Assembly of scaffolding inside the G-II kiln and outer scaffolding for inspecting welds and replacing the thermal insulation during the downtime in October-November 2014.

During the technical downtime of G-II in the Carboneras (Almeria) thermal power plant, Alfran carried out the assembly of the outer scaffolding for removing and replacing the thermal insulation on the pipes of the VRC, VRF, VP, changing the ash catcher joint, and assembling the hanging and tiered scaffolding inside the kiln for inspecting the super-heaters. The work involved up to 35 operators and the investment exceeded 8,500 hours/worker.
