Arabian Cement, with two ovens operated by FLSmidth, is one of our main clients in the region.

Alfran, together with our local partner Intermaint, has installed more than 1,300 tm since March 2012, in different areas of both kilns, with different qualities of Alfranjet (Shotcreting) and vibrocolado (Drytech & Clean) concretes. At the last stop in December 2017, we installed 300 tons of the qualities ALFRANJET ABR CLEAN + & 70 SIC and gunitable insulation LITE 10-14G, in different areas of the Precalcinator, in addition to those applied in the entrance cone and smoke chamber. We saved more than 8 days of shutdown compared to what would have meant the application by vibrocasted, increased safety by the lower need for personnel and the location of the machinery and concrete in level 0. The ALFRANJET system, based on Shotcreting technology, provides greater reliability and quality by automatically controlling all the parameters required by the Pump Operator and Technician-Projector who, together with the Operations Engineer, come from Spain to all our interventions with Alfranjet qualities in Egypt.

Part of the materials applied, resulted from the need to increase our reach, with respect to the initially planned by vibrocolado, to control the time of unemployment.

Alfran, together with Intermaint, has been present in Egypt since 2008. We have, among others, permanently 4 pumps for the wet application of Alfranjet quality concrete (shotcreting technology).
