Alfran continues to strengthen its international operational capacity through a fleet of specialized machinery designed for maintenance work and the installation of refractory solutions.
These units are currently distributed across nine countries, allowing us to respond more quickly to projects carried out in different markets and bring our technical resources closer to the industrial facilities where they are needed.
Alfran’s commitment to specialization and international operational capacity was recently highlighted by Europa Press, which published a press release on the global distribution of our specialized machinery and its role in maintenance projects and industrial shutdowns. This reflects the growth of our own infrastructure, enabling us to be increasingly close to our clients and respond more quickly across different markets.
Specialized machinery serving the industry
Alfran’s fleet includes equipment designed for the different phases of an industrial intervention, from the removal of deteriorated linings to the installation of new refractory materials.
These solutions include robotic demolition, Pumpcrete and Shotcrete, technologies that make it possible to carry out work with greater control and adapt execution to the specific characteristics of each facility.
The incorporation of this type of machinery helps improve key aspects such as safety, execution times and work organization, particularly in projects subject to very strict deadlines.
Presence in nine countries
Alfran’s specialized machinery is currently present in:
- Spain
- Mexico
- United States
- Saudi Arabia
- United Arab Emirates
- Egypt
- India
- Colombia
- Nigeria
This distribution helps reduce equipment transfers between projects and improves our response capacity across different regions.
In addition, having our own equipment facilitates intervention planning and makes it possible to coordinate the human and technical resources required for each project more efficiently.
Robotic demolition: safety and precision
Demolition robots are part of this specialization strategy and make it possible to work on refractory linings and other materials while reducing operators’ direct exposure.
Their use is particularly valuable in hard-to-reach areas, confined spaces or facilities where working conditions require more advanced solutions. Alfran has different types of equipment adapted to the dimensions and requirements of each facility.
As part of this commitment to innovation, CASTBREAKER (CastBreaker Demolition Device) stands out as a proprietary solution developed to carry out refractory demolition work in vertical facilities and difficult-access areas.
The system operates suspended by lifting equipment, making it possible to carry out demolition work without the need for platforms or scaffolding in certain interventions. In this way, it helps reduce operator exposure, optimize working times and maintain a high degree of control over the area being treated.
Alfran currently has three CASTBREAKER units distributed across Spain, Mexico and the United States, further strengthening its ability to deploy this technology in international projects.
Pumpcrete and Shotcrete for refractory concrete installation
In addition to demolition equipment, the fleet includes machinery designed for the installation of refractory concretes.
The Pumpcrete system makes it possible to pump material to the application area, facilitating work where significant distances or difficult access are involved.
Shotcrete, on the other hand, enables concrete to be applied by wet-mix spraying, a solution particularly suitable for certain repair, maintenance or lining installation work.
These technologies allow the application process to be adapted to the specific conditions of each project.
Greater response capacity in international projects
The international distribution of specialized machinery forms part of Alfran’s strategy to provide a closer and more efficient service in the markets where it operates.
Having equipment available in different regions makes it possible to improve planning, reduce logistics times and carry out projects with greater operational autonomy.
This capacity is particularly relevant during industrial shutdowns, where coordination between demolition, installation and commissioning is essential to meet established deadlines.
Technology and in-house resources to protect the heart of industry
Investment in specialized machinery strengthens Alfran’s ability to undertake industrial projects in different countries by combining refractory materials, engineering, technology and in-house resources.
With this international structure, Alfran continues to move forward in its goal of providing solutions tailored to the needs of each facility and responding more quickly to the challenges faced by industry.
