New DRI type HYL in Ternium Pesquería, NL, Mexico Alfran Mexico has started refractory installation works on a new HYL-type DRI (Direct Reduced Iron) unit at Ternium’s steel complex located in Pesquería, Nuevo León, on the outskirts of the city of Monterrey. The project involves an approximate scope of 3,100 tons of refractory materials, representing another significant milestone for Alfran in the region’s steel industry. At the start of the works, we received a visit from Ismael Barreto Tejera, Sales Manager of Alfran AMERICA, and Ignacio Recio Domínguez, CEO of Grupo Aldomer, who were able to witness the project kickoff and convey their support to the team involved. This new milestone strengthens the positioning of Alfran Mexico and highlights the effort, coordination, and professionalism of all the teams participating in its execution.
