METHANOL REFOMER II CEILING REVAMP

Replacing the reticular ceiling in the heat reformer of the Complex was carried out successfully. The works were very difficult due to the number of important changes carried out on the equipment, added to a very tight execution schedule in the 30 days of shutdown. This is a critical piece of equipment due to the demand for the product it produces. It is the only plant in Mexico that produces methanol. The works were carried out as planned, and there were no safety incidents despite employing over 120 people over 2 shifts across the 30 days of downtime. We were congratulated by the plant’s management team.
