REFRACTORY MATERIALS AND THERMAL INSULATION INSTALLATION SERVICE IN THE NEW CEMENT LINE Nº4, PROPERTY OF CEMENTOS PACASMAYO, IN PACASMAYO, PERU.

Last May, we finished the installation works of refractory materials in the new cement line, property of Cementos Pacasmayo located in the city of Pacasmayo, Peru. This project of expansion of installed capacity, brings to Pacasmayo 2000 MT Ck/Day with a 44 meters long kiln, a preheating tower of 5 simple stages and calciner in line. The execution of the works lasted approximately 4 months, reaching a total installation of 1680 MT of refractory materials between shaped products (basic and aluminous bricks) and unshaped products such as dense and insulating castables, and anti-abrasives; for this, we had the support up to 225 people. The main goal, we did not have any accidents, which reinforces our greatest value, the health, and safety of our team.

This discipline was implemented in partnership with the company HOOCRE.

In addition to the Refractory works, we also have the service of Thermal Insulation in tower and cooler for all the ducts of the process gas circuit, as well as the dust removal filters; reaching a total of 5777. 37 m2 of lining installed, which consists of a layer of rock mineral wool and protective layer of steam in some equipment, protected with aluminum foil; to achieve the execution of these scopes we had the support of staff up to  140 people, managing to coat the required scopes as the equipment was released and executing the project in approximately 4 months.
