REPSOL’s advanced biofuels plant in Cartagena (Spain),
ALFRAN, in collaboration with the engineering firm AITESA, has participated in the development of REPSOL’s advanced biofuels plant in Cartagena (Spain), carrying out the thermal insulation work on the process furnaces.
ALFRAN’s intervention aimed to optimize the thermal behavior of the equipment, contributing to ensuring the operational stability of the furnaces and maintaining high levels of energy efficiency during plant operation.
From the earliest stages of the project, close coordination between AITESA and ALFRAN has enabled the integration of equipment engineering with advanced thermal insulation solutions. This collaborative approach has facilitated the adaptation of designs to the specific process requirements, ensuring precise execution and reliable long-term thermal performance.
