Alfran has completed on time the fireproofing and insulation work for the MEG modular project, performed by the American company McDermott International. It’s a petrochemical plant being built in several McDermott yards around the world, where Alfran has applied the fireproofing of structures with epoxy material and the insulation of equipment and pipes, with thermal and acoustic insulation materials. Some innovative executions have been carried out, such as the application of insulation with perlite, acoustic insulation with vinyl, thermal barriers with Foamglass, Fibarroll and Chartek, among other unique applications.
Alfran has been congratulated by McDermott for his commitment and well-done work during the complicated phases of the project.
