The Topolobampo III combined cycle is located in the municipality of Ahome, in the state of Sinaloa (Mexico). Its configuration is 2×1, that is, two gas turbines with their respective heat recovery boilers, for one of steam. The electricity generation capacity is 779 MW and its turbines are GE (General Electric) technology.
We executed the supply and installation works of insulating materials for pipes and BOP equipment (auxiliary services). Different materials were supplied and installed such as Rock wool, Aerogel, and Microporous boards, being approximately 15,500 m2 the insulated surface.






This platform replaces the old Abkatun Alfa. That one suffered an appalling fire in April 2015. Regarding Abkabun A-II, it is expected to have a daily production of 200.00 barrels. It will be located in the Abkatún-Pol-Chuc field, operated by Pemex, in the Campeche basin, between the states of Campeche and Tabasco, and about 132km northeast of the port of Dos Bocas.
