The magazine Andalucía Económica hosted a new edition of its cycle of meetings ‘New generation leaders’. The event took place at the Mercado Lonja del Barranco in Seville. In it, prominent Andalusian entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs tell their business experience. In addition, they give their opinion about the main current economic issues. On this occasion, the speaker was José María Domínguez, Managing Director of Grupo Aldomer.
The event began with a presentation by Leopoldo Parias, managing partner of Deloitte in Andalusia. José María Domínguez started by giving an insight about Grupo Aldomer, a family holding company. He also spoke about Alfran, the most known brand of the Group, which offers high temperature services for most industrial facilities.
Next, José María Domínguez told the trajectory of the Family Company. From its beginning in 1914 in a pottery workshop, until today, when it has a broad international activity. The Group has presence in the following countries: Spain, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia and the USA.
José Mª Domínguez reviewed his training and professional trajectory (in which he has been working in the Family Business for more than 25 years), highlighting the challenges that have been faced and his presence in positions of maximum responsibility in national and international bodies of the refractory sector -ceramic. José Mª stressed that having “a good human and managerial team is more important than the personalism of the leader”, that “we must predict by example” and that “the sale is the engine of the company and contact should not be lost with the clients “.

To end the “New Generation Leaders” cycle, the intention to develop a business project focused on growth and profitability was highlighted. Innovation and technology were also highlighted, and how Alfran offers customized products and personalized services for the client.
