Projects in Iberdrola Combined Cycle Power Plants

Alfran was the company awarded with thermal insulation and passive protection against fire (fireproofing) contracts at the El Carmen and Escobedo Combined Cycle Power plants, located in the municipality of El Carmen, an urban area of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

The insulation works consisted of the thermal sealing of the steam and condensate line of the entire plant and the thermal insulation of process units such as heat recuperators or exchangers.

Likewise, Alfran also carried out the fireproofing and sealing works of the cable trays of both facilities.
