MAINTENANCE FOR ARAMCO RAS TANURA REFINERY

In 2013, Alfran Saudi Arabia was awarded a long-term contract with Saudi ARAMCO for heat-treatment repair services in their Ras Tanura refinery. The contract lasted for 3 years, up to November 2016, with an option to extend it for a further 2 years following the satisfactory execution of the works in the previous 3 years. In June 2016, Alfran Saudi Arabia was awarded the 2-year extension to continue heat-treatment services. The Ras Tanura refinery is the second-largest refinery by volume in Saudi Arabia, and the ninth in the world. The contract included the repair and replacement of existing heat-resistant coating, including boilers, reaction furnaces, heaters, incinerators, SRUs, and other pieces of equipment. The main works we have carried out include replacing the brick coating, the tube plate, manufacture and replacement of burner blocks, and replacing the heat treatment of the boiler.
